PROGRAM WORK HOURS          :   9.30 am to 6 pm (Monday to Saturday) (This program is based around  studio based learning & no work from home shall be permitted)

Gautam & Gautam Associates welcomes Final year B.ARCH students & Fresh Graduates for a short term Professional training exposure. The students will be familiarized with the professional environment in an Architectural setup & will gain an insight into the following through this training :

 

Ø   Professional ethics & Work timeline management

Ø   Key components & team hierarchies of an Architectural firm setup

Ø   Brief overview of pre-design planning a Project’s Design & Construction execution through defining work execution stages & scope of deliverables within

Ø   Hands on experience in real time projects working side by side with our design teams & clients

Ø   Site Exposure & site visit observation report preparations , approach towards addressing clients & maintaining minutes of meetings , Design documentation & Data Management

Ø   Enhancing software & design skills through involvement in diverse stages of projects

Ø   Vendors presentation workshops for updated material knowledge & latest products & technology in market

Ø   Building Services & Design masterclass with leading consultants & real- estate developers

Ø   Green Building Masterclass with Industry leaders providing an insight into Green Building councils like IGBC, GRIHA, LEED India.

 

Applicant Qualifications & Expectations :

• Applicant should either be in his/ her FINAL YEAR of B.Arch. degree course or a FRESH GRADUATE (Completed 5 years of degree course including internship & hasn’t yet started working with another Architectural firm since then)
• Demonstrates proficiency in Sketchup (Mandatory), AutoCAD (Mandatory), Revit (Preferred), parametric and rendering software (Rhino, Grasshopper, 3DS Max, Lumion)- preferred and other graphic representation, presentation, documentation & calculative software (Adobe Suite , Ms Office)- preferable.
• Good understanding of Architectural Principles.
• Should have a strong conceptual design talent and be eager to explore innovative design solutions through a pragmatic and iterative design process along with strong technical & software skills
• Exhibits initiative, process innovation, problem-solving, and decision quality with high attention to precision and accuracy at a project level.
• Proficient  to understand  efficiently the firm’s project handling, record keeping & management mechanism & operate within the same procedures regularly maintaining decorum & discipline at all times.

 

*all selected applicants should bring their own laptops with necessary software & anti-virus installed for work everyday. The configuration of same should be suitable for unobstructed & smooth working.

 

Stages of Application Process :

STAGE 1    :   Applying for the Training program through Apply link at end of this page & filling the form along with attachments required in the same.

STAGE 2   :   Successful Candidates from Stage 1 will be receiving an Application decision mail for the stage on their mail id’s through which they’ve filled the form & will be redirected for an Online Interview of 10- 15 minutes, details of which will be present in the decision mail.

Successful Candidates from Stage 2 will be receiving final Decision mail mentioning the joining details & the same shall be considered as an official admittance letter into the Professional Training Program.

* Applicant shall reply to the decision mails regarding his unavailability/ availability / confirmation maximum one day after receival of decision mail, else it might lead to automatic rejection of application.

 

Outcomes of the Professional Training Program 2022 :

On successful completion of the Professional Training Program, all Trainees shall be provided the following:

• A certificate of successful completion of Professional Training Program under Student Career Development initiative
• Hard copy of work executed during the Training period

 

Selected Trainees who stand out in respect of skills, discipline, punctuality,  dedication & sincerity towards work shall be entitled for :

• Receiving a Letter Of Recommendation from Gautam & Gautam Associates which will help in future endeavors of the trainee.
• An opportunity to continue with the firm as a Junior/ Fresher Architect & becoming a permanent part of our team.

 

* to be eligible for abovementioned outcomes, it is mandatory for a Trainee to have 100% attendance during the program. As the program is of fixed duration of days & having specified start & end date, no extensions of training days shall be provided.

 

*Gautam & Gautam Associates has a right to  forfeit the Training of an individual on grounds of indiscipline, non-regularity, professional misconduct, infidelity or inefficiency in terms of work & skills & same shall also be reported to the college student belongs to. 

 

Pre- requisites from applicant’s end for Training program & Daily training schedule shall be mailed to the applicants selected for the Training Program through the Final decision mail .
