Set amidst the heart of Dubai, the residence of his highness is a juxtaposition of Renaissance and Contemporary style as per his taste, incorporating large triple height lobbies facing the pool. The careful placement & transition between public and private spaces as per Dubai’s traditions has been interspersed with natural landmarks and royal intricately detailed interior spaces, keeping in mind the contextuality, religious & cultural sentiments of the client.
With 4 entrances to the residence, the primary public entrance from front acts as a transition node from the entrance lounge with waiting, to the Royal Majlis (formal drawing room) & the Formal dining area for guests with separate kitchen for the same.
The 2 private entrances for the royal members flank the latitudinal cardinals, opening to a grand double- height lobby, a central landmark of the royal residence, from where the private areas like Grand double- height family lounge with floating pool below, Master suite with study library, kid’s area, family dining & guest bedroom face the grand pool & lush landscapes with abundance of natural light & ventilation. The upper storey incorporates recreational activity zones for the family including the home theatre, open gym facing the pool, 3 bedrooms & a separate servant quarters with it’s separate circulation from the house public- private zones.
Each indoor space is thoughtfully designed for comforting daylight & views of surrounding landscapes with central double- height space acting as a major passive climatic factor for flexibility in thermal control with varying weathers of Dubai.
Elaborately intricate rich interiors immerses oneself into the luxurious grandeur of the entrance, lobby, bedrooms , study, dining & gym of the royal family members, personifying their royal etiquettes & aura through such spatial identity, encapsulating the royal experience through the timeless designed spaces.
